About Me
With an extensive background in fashion and textiles, I have had a creative flair for as long as I can remember. Looking back, I have such fond memories from my childhood of pressing flowers in an old book with my Grandma. I remember how excited I’d feel to see the finished result. Over twenty years later, I still get the buzz of how beautiful preserved flowers can look.
In 2021, my two best friends had their weddings and I had a desire to create something special for them to mark their unforgettable days. Some months later, I preserved my own wedding bouquet which I have proudly displayed in my home. It feels as though I have bottled the joyous feelings I felt on my wedding day and I have instant happiness when I catch a glimpse of my frame every day. I was inspired to put my passion and love of preserving flowers into Oh My Petals to help others capture their significant memory!

About The Floral Preservation Process
Secure your wedding date
Oh My Petals offer a free consultation ahead of your preservation booking. This is a great opportunity to discuss best frame styles & customisation that can be added to your frame. Upon completing enquiry form, deposit and agreement you receive a packaging guide on how to send your flowers.
Your wedding day
Celebrate love and enjoy your beautiful flowers. On your special day keep your flower stems in water when not being used (Great job for the wedding planner or bridesmaids) Traditional bouquet throw can absolutely still happen but using one of your bridesmaids bouquet or requesting an additional bouquet from your florist.
Sending your flowers
Flowers must be sent by post on date confirmed, which is usually 1-2 days after the event. Alternatively you can personally drop off your flowers to Oh My Petals home studio in Hertford, Hertfordshire.
Time to preserve your flowers
When your flowers reaches us, you will receive an email update. We start the preservation process promptly to ensure we achieve the best results. Design mock up will be send for your approval.
Preservation & framing
Your precious petals will be carefully dried and placed your bespoke frame which can take up to 8-10 weeks.
Final balance
Once frame is complete you will receive an email update. After the final balance is settled frame will ready for collection/sent. Collection date must be confirmed with us.
Oh My Petals!
You will reunite with your precious petals. After care guide will be provided to help you take special care of your beautiful frame.
